William knows branding — from customer-facing advertisements to internal communications, he helps organizations curate a holistic brand that drives more relevant customer connections and increased sales.
He joined Chipotle as its lone marketing creative when the company was a startup with fewer than 15 locations. Over the next 19 years, he developed an award-winning brand voice that helped grow Chipotle into a $13B company with more than 2,400 restaurants.
William can direct a branding project from concept to copy. He has experience in planning, strategy development and creative direction. He has also led in-house teams and managed partnerships with external agencies.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bowdoin College, but found his calling as a professional creative early in his career. Based in Denver, he enjoys “Jeeping” and other outdoor recreational activities with his family.
