Her experience ranges from Fortune 500s and mid-sized private companies to not-for-profits, foundations and start-ups. Clients consider her particularly adept at unraveling complex and multi-layered information into simpler, more memorable language to inspire and engage audiences.
Prior to starting her communications consultancy, Melinda held creative director/writer positions at leading agencies in Chicago including Leo Burnett, DMB&B, Euro RSCG, and Frankel (now ARC). She holds a M.A. from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in political science and communications. Melinda began her communications career as an assistant press secretary in the U.S. Senate. Melinda resides in New York City.
